a) What are your views in pursuing a career with the gaming industry, especially in Singapore?
b) What qualities does Jason Chionh have that allow him to do what he wish to do?

a) I think that Singapore is not a suited place to start a career with the gaming industry. The market is way too small and people are often working and many have no time for video games. The only audience they would be reaching out to is the younger generation and with other popular online games as Maple and Audition, they would have many competitors.
b) Jason Chioh was determined and never gave up no matter how much his loved ones were against it and he knew that if he persisted he would achieve his dreams. No matter how the people around him tried to disuade him, he continued to strive for his dreams. ^^

Correct or Crap?
Now, what should John do? Should he open the file attachment? Should he buy the medicine?
John should refrain from opening the attachment as it may be a virus and might take over his computer system.
He should check out the information about the Spanish Flu and whether it is a fact or a fraud.
If it is a fraud, he should immediately delete the email.
If it is a fact, he should look up on the information on the medication which can be used to weaken or cure the disease.

Online relationships
In this article,“The girl said she thought that after having sex with the boy, the relationship would last. Do girls her age normally think like this?” My question to you is: Do girls her age normally think like this? Also, do you think its appropriate to go into a relationship at your age?

Our reply:
Q1
Teen girls tend to think that unless they are taught that things are not as simple as that. They tend to think that by giving the boys what they want, the relationship will last. These girls are not matured enough to enter a relationship and often end up on the losing end. What they do not know is that a true relationship does not need to include sexual acts but time, care and patience.
Q2
I do not think so.
Girls my age are usually not emotionally prepared for a relationship. Also, they may not be matured enough to make the right decisions in a relationship. They may make wrong choices and end up with many regrets. They also may be manipulated by the boys into wrong things.

Session 1 reflections :)
We have learnt that even after we delete a photo online, it will take more than a month to get rid of it properly. Also, photos we post online can be taken and edited. Therefore, we have to take every action into consideration for it might bear severe consequences which might scar us for the rest of our lives.
We have also learnt that any information we put online is freely accessible to anyone and we cannot effectively control whoever reads our information. We could easily hurt anyone by posting rude remarks on our blogs or on social networking accounts. This may result in the issue being taken to court.
